Furikake is a dry Japanese seasoning that will bring extra flavour to your Okonomiyaki from SkinnyAsia or steamed rice, udon noodles, salad and popcorn. 

Nutty, crunchy and savoury packed with umami flavour. Furikake is a little bit like the salt & pepper in the Japanese kitchen.

You can buy seaweed sheet snack packs at Woolworths and Coles
What will you need to make Furikake"

white sesame seeds
black sesame seeds
Nori seaweed sheets (approx. 2 g total – we used 1 of the snack pack sizes but you can break a bigger sheet) salt flakes
dried chilli flakes
dried basil leaves
white sugar is optional
