Skinnymixer’s Basic Vanilla Ice Cream recipe is perfect to create any combination of ice-cream flavours you like in your Thermomix and ice-cream machine… it is especially delicious with the Roasted Balsamic Strawberries from SkinnyEntertaining mixed in!

I recently asked the Skinnymixer’s Facebook community if they would like me to blog a simple base ice-cream recipe that can be used to add any flavours you like in. The overwhelming answer was YES PLEASE! 
A few years ago I got the Breville Smart Scoop Ice Cream Machine and fell in love with making my own low sugar ice-creams for my kids plus dairy-free versions for me! 
Please feel free to mix in fruits or other toppings when churning/mixing the ice-cream. Keep in mind that adding too much fruit will add water content to the mix and make it less creamy. If you are looking for a special flavour, I already have a few ice-cream & gelato recipes published:
