Prawn Omelette
Beakfast is such an important meal of the day and so is dinner. This prawn omelette is just perfect to get the ideal start to the day or to end a long day at work. I like to serve mine with homemade Kimchi or some Sriracha sauce. It just can't get better than that and totally fills you up. It will only take you 20 minutes to prepare and it such an easy Thermomix recipe.
The key to this perfect omelette is my essential Varoma stainless steel steaming tray that I use to make larger portions of omelette, steam fish or chicken dishes and many other things. It is so versatile and you can use the tray to serve it straight at the breakfast table, so easy. After you are done, simply place the tray in the dishwasher and voila, all done. Not to worry though, steam can still circulate perfectly around the tray and nothing will prevent your lovely food from coking all the way through. It is a perfect fit and much of such high quality, sourced by me to ensure you get the best prolducts out there.
For the omelette
2 spring onions (in large chunks)
2 garlic cloves (peeled)
1 red chilli (in large chunks)
5 large eggs
60 g double cream (or thickened cream)
1 tsp sea salt flakes
1 pinch black pepper
20 g unsalted butter (for greasing)
250 g king prawns (cooked)
500 g water
For serving
10 g fresh coriander
1 lime (juice only)
kimchi (or Sriracha Sauce for serving)
