Oatmeal in Thermomix
When you try and look up Oatmeal it can be hard as other countries call it porridge. This is a recipe that can be made many different ways. With water, no milk etc. The best thing and one of my favourite reasons for owning a Thermomix is that I do not need to stand by the stove and stir all the time. I was great at bubbling over and making a mess as I did not want to supervise the pot on the stove. This way you throw in your ingredients, set the timer and it calls you when you are done. I used steel cut oats so I cooked it for 2 minutes longer. I also threw in dried blueberries and currents for a sweet taste instead of sugar. Top with some cinnamon and you have a powerhouse healthy breakfast of champions. This recipe is from Thermomix Australia.
