Korma Paste
This korma paste is such a fabulous staple in my fridge, not just for me, but for Hermione, too! This paste is great for adults as well as babies, and is delicious mixed through vegetables and rice, used as a marinade for meat, and as a base for delicious curries. It's the perfect go-to paste to have in your fridge!

Ingredients½ tsp cayenne pepper2 tsp garam masala4 tsp cumin seeds2 tsp coriander seeds2 tsp turmeric60 g desiccated coconut60 g ground almonds4 garlic cloves60 g fresh ginger40 g sunflower oil80 g tomato puree30 g fresh coriander120 g water InstructionsHeat a dry frying pan to medium heat and add the cayenne pepper, garam masala, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, turmeric and desiccated coconut. Fry for a couple of minutes until you can smell the spices. Tip into the mixing bowl, add the ground almonds and blend 30 Sec / Speed 10. Add the ginger and garlic, sunflower oil, tomato puree, almonds and coriander and water and blitz 30 Sec / Speed 10.
