Easy Christmas Fruit Mince Slice
Enjoy the taste of Christmas all year round with this super delicious mince crumble slice.
As much as I love Skye’s Pear and Almond Mince, I felt that I had to do something with it, apart from eat it straight out of the jar that is! I wanted to think out of the mince pie box and decided that a slice would be nice! This recipe ticks all my boxes, it’s quick, easy, bang on budget and uses just a handful of pantry staples.
Best of all, it’s super versatile, it’s super delicious served warm with custard or ice cream for a delicious dessert and totally tasty served cold with a cuppa.
Even David who has an aversion to dried fruit and mince pies, loves this slice. Trust me when I tell you this recipe is for life, not just for Christmas! Do you have a favourite Christmas recipe" And if you ate this warm, what would you choose, custard or ice cream"!
