Follow these simple steps to make your candles:

Step 1: Melt the Wax
Place 120 g of soy wax in the Thermomix bowl.
Set the machine to 80°C and speed 2 for 3 minutes. This will ensure that the wax melts evenly.

Step 2: Add Fragrance and Color
Add between 50 and 150 drops of citronella essential oil, depending on the desired intensity.
If preferred, add a few drops of liquid food coloring to give your candles a personal touch.
Mix for 10 seconds at speed 3.

Step 3: Prepare the Containers
Place a wick in the center of each jar or tin. You can secure it with special adhesive or a metal holder.
Pour the melted wax into the containers, making sure the wick stays centered.

Step 4: Solidify Let the candles cool and solidify at room temperature. This may take between 2 and 4 hours.

Tips for Customizing Your Candles

• Adjust the Fragrance Intensity: If you plan to use several candles together, you can opt for a medium dose of citronella. For a single candle, use the maximum number of drops.
• Try Other Essential Oils: Although citronella is the classic choice, you can also use lemon, lemongrass, or even synthetic fragrance blends for a unique scent.
• Creative Design: Use dyes to create multicolored candles or decorate the containers with ribbons and custom labels.
